How It All Started

Lopker Love began with a simple sketch.

Inspired by the timeless simplicity of brands like Chanel and Kate Spade, I found myself drawn to classic black-and-white design accented by unexpected pops of color. I wanted something simple, recognizable, and meaningful—a symbol that could grow alongside whatever this creative journey might become. Looking back, that little hand-drawn logo was the first glimpse of what Lopker Love would eventually represent.

At the time, life had become simpler in many ways. Offices became kitchen tables. Business attire gave way to sweatshirts and sweatpants. The world slowed down, and many people stopped feeling like themselves.

Having spent much of my college years working in beauty and retail, I learned how much impact small details can have. A favorite lipstick. A great haircut. A beautiful display. A colorful accessory that helps someone feel confident, polished, and a little more like themselves. It was never really about the thing itself. It was about how it made you feel.

The inspiration for creating Lopker Love came during long hikes with friends, when we found ourselves spending more time outdoors and appreciating the simple things around us. Along the Rubicon Trail, I was captivated by the deep blue waters of Lake Tahoe. Days later, while exploring near the Donner Tunnels in Truckee, I noticed a little red heart painted on a rock. It was a small but mighty reminder of hope, love, and connection during an uncertain time.

Both stayed with me.

The brilliant blues of the lake inspired some of my very first designs, while the little red heart inspired something much bigger. It became a reminder that even during difficult seasons, we can still choose joy, encouragement, kindness, and connection.

What began as simple creations inspired by places I loved quickly became a way to share beauty with others. The earrings were lightweight, colorful, and easy to wear, but they represented something more than fashion.

A little confidence.

A little joy.

A reminder to notice beauty.

A reminder that even in challenging times, there is still love, hope, and connection all around us.

And in many ways, that's still what Lopker Love is today.

A celebration of beauty.

A celebration of connection.

And a reminder that sometimes the smallest things can make the biggest difference. ❤️
