The Gift of Encouragement
When Lopker Love began, it started with a simple idea, a few handmade creations, and a hope that others might find a little beauty, confidence, and joy in them. What I didn't expect was how many people would encourage me along the way.
Long before any of that, there was my family. Looking back, I realize how much of who I am comes from both of my parents. My dad taught me grit. He always believed we were capable of more than we thought and challenged me to keep growing, keep improving, and never settle for less than our best. My mom taught me faith, kindness, forgiveness, and the importance of sharing beauty with others. For years, she encouraged me to do more with my photography and believed in my creativity long before I fully did myself. Together, they gave me the confidence to keep creating, even when I wasn't entirely sure where the path would lead.
As this little adventure began to take shape, people started appearing at just the right moments. Teresa at Tahoe Style was one of the first boutique owners to believe in me and encourage my work. Cindy Novotny generously shared her support and reminded me that growth comes from being willing to keep learning. Friends, family, customers, and local businesses all helped move this journey forward in both big and small ways. Every kind word, introduction, opportunity, and vote of confidence mattered more than they probably realized.
What I've learned is that encouragement is a gift. Sometimes it's a conversation. Sometimes it's a recommendation. Sometimes it's someone simply saying, "I believe in you." Those small moments have a way of changing everything.
At the end of the day, Lopker Love isn't really about products. It's about people. It's about connection. It's about sharing beauty, encouragement, and kindness whenever we can.
To everyone who has supported, encouraged, shared, purchased, introduced, believed, and cheered me on—thank you. You are part of this story too. ❤️
